12 Days of Creepmas ~ Day 12 with Bonnie

Bwa Ha Ha! Airless Chambers has once again been celebrating Creepmas by joining the 12 days of Creepmas Blog Hop organized by Smeared Ink. The AC Crew has been using Rick's awesome Creepmas digis which are available at his Zibbet and Etsy shops or some of his rubber stamps which are available at I Brake For Stamps. Looking for more chances to colour Creepmas images? Check out Rick's new adult colouring book called Creepy Creepmas: A Holiday Adventure for Colorists. Details are here.

Welcome to Day 12, the last day of the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop. This has been such a blast. Huge thanks to Smeared Ink for making it happen, to all of the participants for their inspiration and to the intrepid hoppers who made it so much fun.The blog roll is in the sidebar for those brave enough to hop through the entire line-up one last time. It's Bonnie here with an art journal page about my perfect solution to all of the stresses of finding just the right gift for each person on my list. I hired a personal shopper, the star of the image known as Creepmas Shopper. Isn't she amazing? I coloured her and all of her purchases with a mix of Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils. Red Stickles was added to her cigarette end and the holly berries in her hair. White embossing paste was added to the Santa hat, and Glossy Accents to all the eyeballs. The image was fussy cut leaving a narrow white border and then matted with black.

The background started as a 6 x 8 inch rectangle of green glittery dotty paper. A wreath stamp was added with Library Green Archival ink and a crosshatched pattern with Fern Green Archival. Washi tape was applied to white cardstock, trimmed with a fishtail end and applied in three places. The one grounding her eas given a black triangle end and a white metal snowflake coloured with a red Copic marker. The other two were topped with purple buttons threaded with purple floss to connect to the purple in the image. Black cardstock corners were added and black snowflakes punched and adhered randomly. The sentiment was computer generated, printed on white cardstock and matted with black. Both the words and my shopper were popped up on foam tape to create dimension. To finish the page, black Big Brush pen was added to the edges and black matting to the entire page to frame it.

Thanks so much for stopping by. I hope you have enjoyed this hop as much as we all have.

Merry Creepmas!

HAPPY CREEPMAS from  Lynda

I saw this image in Rick's Zibbet shop and I couldn't resist making a card with him.

The digi stamp is called Creepmas Tree Monster

It was an absolute dream to colour :-) so I just wanted to share with you my Christmas Promarker combo's that I love using.

RED: Burgundy, Red Sweater
GREEN: Olive green, Apple Cider and Fresh meadow.
YELLOW: Sleigh Bell, Mustard and Pineapple crush

Regardless of what other colours I'm using I always use Umber for the shading with the exception of when I use yellow as it doesn't blend well.

Hope you like it

12 Days of Creepmas ~ Day 9 with Monique

Bwa Ha Ha! Airless Chambers is once again celebrating Creepmas by joining the 12 days of Creepmas Blog Hop organized by Smeared Ink. The AC Crew will be using Rick's awesome Creepmas digis which are available at his Zibbet and Etsy shops or some of his rubber stamps which are available at I Brake For Stamps. Looking for more chances to colour Creepmas images? Check out Rick's new adult colouring book called Creepy Creepmas: A Holiday Adventure for Colorists. Details are here.

Welcome to Day 9 of the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop. The blog roll is in the sidebar for those brave enough to hop through the entire line-up.

Today I have a journal page for you, I used the digital image from Rick St.dennis called Yo Mouse no Stirring and I really like these creepy presents (there are losts in Rick's zibbet in the Creepmas section here), they look kinda scary but I am sure they are really very sweet and cute. I wondered why this guy was walking around with a watch but when I got working on the page it all got together, see the quote on the page. :-)  I think it is a very true saying and I guess giving your time to someone or get time from someone is the best gift ever.

Anyway time to get creepy LOL

I coloured the image using Derwent coloursoft pencils, that is why the colors are not that bright, I think Derwent gives a bit of a vintage look and sometimse that is just what I want, that's why I have different sets of pencils, they all give a different result. The image was printed on copier paper and I blended the colours using a paperstump and odourless mineral spirit (but baby oil or vaseline will give same result). I cut the image out and started working on the back ground.

For the background you will need the folowing products  by Deco Art:  Media misters in yellow, orange and purple. Americana acrylics in Red Alert and Festive green, Dazzlng metallic paint in Venetian gold and am Americana stencil called Short Circuit.

The other things I used is a stencil with little stars (mine is from Balzer Designs) the clock background stamp is by Kaisercraft and the splatter stamp is by Prima.

I used  A Sharpie to write te quote(found on the net) on a piece of cardstock and coloured it using Mustard Seed distress ink.

The background started out when I cleaned my misters from last use, I usually clean them  by using an empty spray bottle fill that with water and put the spay head I want to clean on that , I spray on empty pages of my journal to use that for backgrounds.

Next I added the clock stamp using Archival ink, took the Short Circuit stencil and gold paint to add some parts of the stencil on my page. It looks real cool and shiny in real life but it doesn't show that well in the pic.
To give it a more Christmas look I used the star stencil and Red and Green paint. I added some splatters by the prima stamp and tadaaaa the background was done

I glued everyting on the page and made a bit of a shadow underneath the parcels feet using a water soluble crayon ( I love my watersoluble crayons, they are a kiddie brand and they were only 3 Euros for 12 in a cool plastic container and they work soo much better than the Gelatos I have)

Anyway that's it for today, see you on the next Creepmas hop day and one of my teamies will host this blog . meanwhile thanks for your time hopping, lurking or whatever around our blog and leaving the nice comments.........

Oh if you have some time to spare visit my little shop on Zibbet, I am selling my handmade stuff there, so if you are looking for a prezzie yourself go and have a looksey :-)

12 Days of Creepmas ~ Day 8 with Bonnie

Welcome to Day 8 of the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop. The blog roll is in the sidebar for those brave enough to hop through the entire line-up. It's Bonnie here today with an art journal page dedicated to all of us (and I'm afraid I'm included) who have had to sit on the Naughty Step in 2015. I've been on it so many times that the step is worn to fit my behind perfectly! The mixed media piece features the ever so creepy Wendell Wreath...so fun! I coloured Wendell with Prismacolor and Polychromos pencils, adding Glossy Accents to his lovely bulging eyes. Silver gel pen was used to colour the balls on the wreath. He was fussy cut leaving a narrow white border and then matted with black cardstock before being popped up on foam tape.

The background began as a 6 x 8 inch rectangle of mixed media paper which had sprinkles of  Leaf Green, Turquoise, and Cobalt Blue Brusho crystals added in little groups. Water was spritzed over the crystals and the card was tipped and tilted to create runs and drips. Once dry, circles were added with a Stampotique cube and Cobalt Blue Archival ink. Text was added with a Joggles stamp and Viridian Green Archival ink. White embossing paste was scraped through Dylusions Bubbles stencil. A special delivery stamp and some Penny Black Alpha stamps were added with Jet Black Archival. A spider sticker was popped up on the inside of the special delivery impression.

The Creepmas tree was hand drawn and cut from spray clean up cardstock with corrugated cardboard for the trunk. A skull sticker decorates the top and Idea-ology black tinsel plus some black half pearls make Wendell's tree a show stopper (he thinks). The tree was popped up on foam tape and a scrap of cheesecloth became the snow. Washi tape was placed behind the tree to ground it. The computer generated sentiment was printed on white, matted with black, and popped up on foam tape. The tiny word, Again, was created with stickers. To finish the page, Black Big Brush pen was added to the edges and the entire piece was matted in black.

Thanks for visiting Wendell and me today. We appreciate that! Happy Creepmas hopping!

Welcome to Day 7 of the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop. The blog roll is in the sidebar for those brave enough to hop through the entire line-up.

For this special make I decided to make a little Creepmas gift :)  So I used the fab set Bookmark set 1
Bookmarks set 1 WINTER
And I made a little video of my process for you guys!!!  Hope you like it!
Here's the look of them and I realized afterwards that the creepy elf has a little ribbon in his face....maybe he was hidding?  I was thinking while making this with the elf how he reminded me of the movie that I saw with my friend this week Krampus.  The elves kinda looked like him.

I put a bunch of little sequins in them and fused the plastic using my little We R Memory Keepers tool.

Hope that you have liked my little inspiration.  Have fun on the hop!!!

Hugs

12 Days of Creepmas ~ Day 5 with Monique

Welcome to Day 5  of the 12 Days of Creepmas Blog Hop. The blog roll is in the sidebar for those brave enough to hop through the entire line-up.

For the 12 days of Creepmas  at Airless chambers I made this Creepmas Shrine

Stamp used: The Skullie nutcracker by Rick St.dennis  is a rubber stamp by Smeared Ink, but now only available as digi on the Dark Holidaze sheet
Deco Art products used : Metallic Lustres in Silver Spark and Brilliant Turquoise. Craft twinkles in Christmas Green, Christmas Red and Chrystal . Glamour Dust Glitter paint in Turquoise and Emerald. Americana acrylics  in Titanium white and Indian Turquoise.  Dazzling Metallics in Shimmering Silver, Triple thick Gloss Glaze , Glistening Snowtex and Gesso.

The shrine is made of 2 wooden frames a wooden box and a piece of chipboard.

First Gessoed all parts and painted them turquoise, added glitter paint and next traced one of the frames onto paper to cut out and emboss (Cutlebug embossing folder Snowflakes), also painted the paper and used metallic lustre on the embossed parts
The pentacle is made of rhinestones, was a bit of a puzzle but I think it looks great as a creepmas star

The cross is a charm, it's upside down ofcourse....duh!  I mean,  CREEPMAS!! all Creepmas crosses are upside down aren't they?
The nutcracker was stamped on paper, and coloured, I used glitter paint to give him some bling and a shine star rhinestone to put on his hat. After that I used 2 layers of triple thick gloss glaze to give it a more nutcracker varnished wood look.

The trees are normal trees from my hubbies model train, I borrowed them :-)   and put lots of glitter on them to decorate (I don;t think hubby wants them back now LOL)
The snow flakes are stamped using white americana paint and they have rhinestones added. there is glitter paint in the inside walls of the shrine too
I added some battery operated christmas lights to give it some extra cheer    errrmmm I mean CREEP

to get some extra bling I added tinsel and silver painted, glittered skullies with real candles on their heads (candles and skulls are a must for a Creepmas shrine, everybody knows that)
To give the scene a frozen look I added turquoise glitter glue to the edges and glistening snowtex on the ground......very creepmassy :-)   (I can just hear the nutcrackers scary voice sing "Let it go")
O forgot to tell you, the embossed snowflakes on the frame have rhinestones too
just like the eyes of the skull candle holders :-)

that's about it,  just paint glitter and rhinestone away and you have a blingy creepmas shrine, this one is made for the Sparkle challenge on Rick;s fans and friends facebook group..........cuz you did not think I would use that much glitter and bling on my own  would you???    there goes my dark reputation  lol

Good Morning Fiona R here today with my contribution. I have created an ATC on a Tag. I have used Rick St Dennis MFA's fabulous image Ho Ho Zombie now on sale in his Zibett store. I coloured up the Zombie image with my copics. Scanned into photoshop and created my ATC then printed off. I then attached the atc to a mount board base for stability. I die cut my tag base from mount board. Attached my background paper, attached the ATC and finished with a black organza bow.

Happy Hopping. Hugs Fiona.
